Key Accomplishments:
- Delivered portions of a reimagined internal CMS that was scoped and built around users’ workflows resulting in fewer errors and many hours saved. This was a modernization effort and was built using a service-oriented architecture on top of a constellation of existing legacy backend services and newly built services.
- I rolled out agile development practices across the entire product engineering department, greatly increasing the department’s efficiency and productivity.
- Built a near-real time event stream to bridge the gap between disparate systems and replace periodic batch jobs with real time data processing.

I was recruited into Tibrio to build and grow the engineering and technology operations for the company. Partnering with the CPO, I scoped and prioritized our product and technology roadmap. I hired a lean team of 6 and used an agile development process to iterate on our consumer-facing web properties, optimizing for conversions, engagement, and revenue.
Key Accomplishments:
- Established a culture of product-focused engineering.
- Instituted code review and QA processes and implemented a CI/CD pipeline.
- Reduced AWS monthly costs by 52% through capacity planning, right-sizing our infrastructure, and autoscaling.
